The following portraits were commissioned collaboratively thanks to grant funding from both the Harry Bridges Center for Labor Studies and by the Howard Martin Award. Artists Brianna Miller and Brando Martin created the color pencil and collage art based on selected transcript excerpts and input from the home care aides I interviewed for my master’s thesis.
